Pack beans lengthwise into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space. To each pint, add 1/4 teaspoon. cayenne powder, 1 clove of garlic and 1 sprig of dill. Combine remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Pour, boiling hot, over beans, leaving 1/4 inch head space. Process 10 minutes in boiling-water bath. Let stand 2 weeks to allow flavor to develop.
Yields 4 pints.
NOTES : Home-canned green beans in a spicy, hot, dilled, garlic vinegar.
Try them in Bloody Mary drinks as a garnish.
