Boston Market Meatloaf
Serves 6
Ingredients
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons barbecue sauce, kraft original
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 pounds ground sirlon, 10% fat
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- dash garlic powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Heat mixture until it begins to bubble, stirring often, then remove from heat. In a large bowl, add all but 2 tablespoons of sauce to meat, mix well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Load the meat into a loaf pan. Cover with foil and place in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove foil and drain fat from pan. Using a knife, slice meatloaf all the way through into 8 slices. This will help cook the center. Pour the remaining 2 tablespoons of sauce over the top of the meatloaf, in a stream down the center. Don't spread the sauce. Put back into oven, uncovered, for 25 minutes until done. Remove and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
