Easy Ground Beef Skillet
Serves 6
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup green bell peppers, chopped
- 16 oz. can whole corn
- 16 oz. can red kidney beans
- 16 ozs. tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons bottled steak sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
Directions
Brown ground beef in 10 inch skillet. When meat begins to
turn color, add onion and green pepper. Saute until meat is well
browned. Add undrained corn, undrained kidney beans, tomato
sauce, steak sauce, salt, marjoram, pepper and bay leaf. Bring to
a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, adding
water if necessary. Remove bay leaf and serve.
