Ground Beef & Pasta
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 3 cloves crushed garlic
- 3/4 cup spaghetti sauce
- 3/4 cup canned beef gravy
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 3/4 pound small tube pasta
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Bring 4 quarts of water to boil. Heat a large skillet and add
oil. When oil is hot add beef and garlic and saute until meat is
tender. Drain off excess fat. Add remaining ingredients except
the mozzarella and pasta tubes. Simmer the mixture while you cook
the pasta tubes until just barely tender. Drain pasta and add to
the meat mixture. Pour this mixture into a 3 quart baking dish
and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered in a 350 degree
oven for 25 minutes until top is golden brown.
