Bacon Beef Succotash
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup beef broth
- 10 oz. can corn, drained
- 10 oz. can lima beans, drained
- 1 dash sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a large skillet cook bacon until crisp and drain on paper
towels. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of bacon fat. Add onion
and beef and saute, stirring often until onion is soft and beef
is browned. Crumble bacon and add with the rest of the
ingredients to beef mixture. Cover and heat through.
