Chicken Liver Pate

Simmer the livers in chicken broth until done, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain. Grind them with the egg, using a medium blade of a food chopper. Or, puree in an electric blender, using a little of the liquid in which the livers were cooked. Brown the onions lightly in butter. Add onions and butter and all other ingredients to livers to make a paste. Serve in a lettuce cup with melba toast.
