Deep Fried Mozzarella
Serves 6
Ingredients
- 1 pound mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup flour for dredging
- 2 eggs well beaten
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- oil for frying
Directions
Cut the cheese into the shape of medallions, or sticks. Roll
the medallions in flour, dip in egg and coat with bread crumbs.
Heat enough oil to come up 1/4 inch on the sides of a heavy
skillet, or deep fry. Fry the medallions over medium high heat
until golden brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels.
