Deep Fried Mushrooms

Trim stems from mushrooms. In a bowl combine flour, bread crumbs, salt, italian seasoning, and baking powder. Dip mushrooms into beaten egg, then into crumb mixture; toss well to coat. Shake off excess crumb mixture. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees and deep fry mushrooms a few at a time until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
