Carloina Mustard Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 Tbs vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup onions, minced
- 1 cup yellow mustard
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 tsp celery seeds
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
Heat oil and saute onions until soft. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often. Use as a finishing sauce for pork shoulder, brushed on 30 minutes before end of cooking. Try it on a pulled pork sandwich.
