Deviled Swiss Steak
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 pounds round steak, 1 inch thick
- 1 cup peeled carrots sliced
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 1 1/2 cups canned tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Combine mustard and flour; pound into steak. Season with salt and pepper. Melt butter in a large saucepan and brown steaks on both sides. Add remaining ingredients, cover, simmer 2 hours.
