Crock Pot Ribs
Ingredients
- 3 lbs country style pork ribs
- 16 oz sauerkraut
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 8 oz mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1 large apple, cored and cut into wedges
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp celery seed
Directions
Brown ribs in skillet on top of range over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to crock pot. Layer sauerkraut, onion, mushrooms, apple wedges and brown sugar over ribs. Sprinkle with celery seed. Cover and cook on low for 7 ~ 9 hours or high for -4 hours until meat is tender.
