Maryland Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 8 pork chops
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sage
- 4 whole tart apples, cored and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbs flour
- 1 cup water, hot
- 1 Tbs cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup raisins
Directions
Brown chops in a small amount of oil, sprinkle with salt and sage. Place in baking dish. Top with apple rings, sprinkle with brown sugar. Blend flour into oil in skillet, stir until brown. Add water and vinegar. Cook until thickened. Add raisins and pour over chops. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
