Orange-Apricot Spareribs
Ingredients
- 2 lbs spare ribs
- 3 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup apricot jam
- 3 Tbs soy sauce
- 3 Tbs honey
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 2 Tbs Dijon mustard
Directions
Preheat oven to 325°F. Combine all ingredients except ribs in a jar and shake well. Pour over ribs in baking pan. Cover with foil. Bake 45 minutes. Raise temperature to 350°F. Uncover, pour off sauce into saucepan and reduce until quite thick. Pour sauce over ribs and bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until nicely browned.
