Bacon Tomato Pasta
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 1/2 pound bacon, diced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 14 oz's diced tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound of pasta
Directions
Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat. Saute onion until transparent. Add diced bacon and saute until crisp. Add tomatoes, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes, be careful not to burn. Add cheese and toss. Serve over penne or spaghetti. Pass extra cheese.
