Broccoli and Pasta
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 package frozen broccoli and cauliflower, thawed
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 soup cans of milk
- 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 cup red bell peppers, diced
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Thaw and cook broccoli and cauiflower according to package
directions and drain and set aside. In a large saucepan, saute
peppers in oil and margarine until tender. Add mushrooms, onions
and saute another 4 minutes. Add soup and milk and heat until
smooth. Add cooked broccoli and heat until mixture is thick and
bubbly. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve over your favorite pasta.
