Red Clam Sauce
Serves 2
Ingredients
- 16 ozs. minced clams, with juice
- 1 can whole baby clams, with juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 14 ozs. diced tomatoes, with juice
- 1 teaspoon chopped basil
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 pound linguine, cooked and drained
Directions
Heat garlic in olive oil. Add tomatoes, basil, parsley, oregano, salt and red pepper flakes. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add clams with liquid. Cook linquine 6 minutes and drain. Add linquine to the sauce and cook, tossing constantly, until the sauce is absorbed and pasta is done.
