Dilled Lettuce & Mushroom Salad
Ingredients
- Romaine or Iceburg lettuce, torn into pieces
- 1/2 pound mushrooms thinly sliced
- 1 large tomato cut into wedges
- 1/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds
- Creamy Dill Dressing
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons salad oil
Directions
To prepare salad, combine lettuce and mushrooms in a large salad bowl ; set aside. To prepare Creamy Dill Dressing, mix mayonnaise, dill weed, vinegar, and mustard in a medium bowl . Using a whisk or fork, gradually beat in oil. Add dressing to lettuce mixture and mix lightly. Arrange tomato wedges around edge. Sprinkle sunflower seeds in center.
