Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 ozs. bittersweet chocolate
- 2 ozs. sweet chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Put butter in a small bowl; break chocolate into bowl with butter and place bowl in a saucepan of simmering water to melt. As chocolate and butter melt, stir until smooth and add vanilla. Variation: Grate rind of 1/2 orange into chocolate and add 1 teaspoon orange juice instead of vanilla. Yields: 1/2 cup
