In a bowl blend together mayonnaise, mustard, and lemon juice. In a deep bowl whip cream until soft peaks form. Fold into mayonnaise mixture. Makes about 3/4 cup. Lemon and Dijon mustard add a light and refreshing touch to this creme. It serves to enhance -- not mask -- flavors; offer it spread over smoked salmon, spears of baby asparagus, or as a vegetable dip with a cool glass of Chardonnay.
