Herb Butter
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons shallot, minced
- 3 tablespoons fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
Directions
Place butter in a blender, food processor, or 2-cup mixing bowl. Add shallots, herb, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill. Mix available herbs for creative combinations. Mold in butter forms or ice-cube trays. Use on vegetables or as a spread for bread.
