Bechamel Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Directions
Melt butter in a 1-quart saucepan over low heat. Whisk in flour, stirring to combine. Cook 2 to 3 minutes. Add milk all at once, whisking constantly until thickened. Season with salt, pepper. Cook over low heat for 1 minute more.
