Jerk Seasoning
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons minced onion, dried
- 2 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons ground allspice
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
This is a great seasoning for any meat. You can make more of it all at once and store in an air tight container. Store in a cool place. This recipe makes 1/4 cup.
In a small, nonporous bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. When ready to use, rub meat with a little oil and rub seasoning on oiled meat.
