Green Bean Almond Rice
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/3 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 3 cups cooked brown rice
- 1 package, 10 oz.,french style green beans, thawed
- 1/4 teaspoon tarragon
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add almonds;
stir until lightly browned. Add onions and red pepper; cook for
2 minutes or until tender. Add rice, green beans, salt, pepper
and tarragon. Stir until thoroughly heated.
