Chicken Fricassee

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 pounds Chicken Legs and Thighs
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 cup celery -- chopped
- 1/2 cup onions -- chopped
- 1 can cond. cream of mushroom soup -- (8 oz.)
- 1 can milk -- (8 oz.)
- 1/2 cup green or red bell peppers -- chopped
- 4 cups cooked rice
- salt and pepper -- to taste
In a plastic bag, combine flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken,
one at a time, shake to coat. In a skillet, brown chicken in
margarine until brown on all sides. Transfer browned chicken to a
3 quart casserole dish. In the same skillet you browned the
chicken, saute celery, pepper, and onion until tender, scraping
the brown bits from the pan. Stir in soup and milk. Stir to blend
well. Pour this mixture over the chicken and bake covered for 45
minutes. Serve over hot cooked rice.
